The desk
What is Pnlytix?
Pnlytix is a trading journal. You put a live brokerage book and a prop-firm eval on the same desk, and it marks what paid, what to cut, and whether the eval still pays after fees and resets.
The name is easy to misread. Plytix, one letter away, is product-information software for catalogs. Pnlytix is not that company. This site is pnlytix.com. The journal you sign in to is app.pnlytix.com.
Who it is for
A brokerage account you actually trade, a futures or CFD combine, or both. The strategy can be the same. The way the account dies is not. A live book dies on ruin. A combine dies on a published rule: trailing drawdown, daily loss, consistency, a news window.
- One account per book. Do not add the funded eval and the live IRA into one P&L.
- Firm, phase, and size live on the prop account, not in a note you forget to open.
- The coach and the news summary read the book you are about to sit in, not a generic prompt.
What the desk shows
- The trade log and the long book, kept off each other’s KPIs.
- Rule adherence next to P&L, so a green day that ignored the stop still counts as a process loss.
- Trailing or static drawdown, daily loss, and consistency on the prop account.
- A coach, a news summary before the session, and a weekly plan.
- MT5 statement import, a live MetaTrader connection, charts, markets, backtesting, and a position calculator.
What it does not do
Pnlytix does not place trades. It does not replace the firm’s dashboard for a lock or a payout. The firm’s feed stays the source of truth. The journal is where those rules sit next to the fills, so you see the cage before the violation email.
How to start
New accounts get a 7-day Pro trial, with no card. After that, 2 books stay free. Pro is $12 a month or $99 a year. The pricing page has the split. The trading journal and prop firm journal pages describe the two books. Notes from the desk are on the blog.
